Ese lovina Ukpeseraye, a Nigerian cyclist, has missed the ongoing African Cycling Championship holding in Kenya despite being the number one on the continent.
She missed the World Championship in Zurich at the same time with her African miss.
She revealed this in a series of X posts on Friday.
“I was not present at the World Championship in Zurich, and despite being ranked number one in Africa, I am also unable to participate in the ongoing African championship in Kenya, where I was supposed to defend my title,” she wrote.

In another post, she announced her exit from her current team.
“Moving forward, I will no longer be wearing the jersey shown in the photo,” she announced, adding that “Nevertheless, life continues, and I choose to remain positive and focus on what brings me happiness. Thank you.”
Explaining why she missed those events, she said her travel planners failed to discharge their duty.
